Participating Organizations for 2014
Located at Ice Central


Amigo Search and Rescue Dogs - Oneonta, NY

Will bring a few dogs with certain rescue credentials to show, display organization information and answer questions from our guests

Broome County Underwater Diving Team

Will provide a demo of rescue diving and rescue operations

Finch Hollow Nature Center
There will be displays and demonstrations which may be applicable to entertain and educate our guests

National Weather Service

A Real Time Weather Station will be set up to show current weather conditions (such as wind chill) and a skilled meteorologist will be on hand to answer any questions.

Ross Park Zoo

Ross Park Zoo personell will be available with appropriate animals or birds suitable to the existing weather conditions. Zoo personnel will provide and up-close-and-personal view of the 'critters' and answer any questions our guests may have.

Whitney Point Rotary (towards shore)
An Ice Skating rink will be provided and free loaner ice skates will be available to any of our guests to enjoy the sport and recreation of ice skating. There will be a small shelter available as well (weather permitting).
